INVITATION TO YOUNG EUROPEANSWAVES OF DEMOCRACY SERBIA 2010, IN NOVI SAD.Venue: Hotel Novi Sad www.hotelnovisad.co.rs Novi Sad, Serbia Dates: Friday July 2nd - Thursday July 8th, 2010 Participants: 50 from EU countries + 50 from West Balkans (aged 17 - 25 years) Costs: Travel costs + delegate fee €50 (EU participants)
WAVES OF DEMOCRACY 2010, SERBIA /ProgrammeVenue: Hotel Novi Sad, Bulevar Jase Tomica bb, 21000 Novi Sad http://www.hotelnovisad.co.rs/ Period: July 2 - 8, 2010 Friday July 2 Bus transportation from Belgrade Airport will be arranged. Pending on arrival time some waiting can be expected. Participants should plan to arrive before 16.00 to be in time for the evening arrangements. Those coming by car/bus/train should plan to arrive before 18.00 at Hotel Novi Sad 19.00 Dinner/snacks at the hotel 20.00 Meeting for the 10 Committee Presidents chaired by Mr. Andreas Guidi 21.00 Welcome of participants/Teambuilding in Committees
Saturday July 3 8.00 - 9.00 Breakfast at the hotel 9.30 - 11.30 Official Opening Ceremony at the Petrovaradin Fortress. Bus transport provided. The Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Igor Pavlecic will officially open the event and address participants. Other speakers will include: H. E. Mette Kjuel Nielsen (Denmark´s ambassador to Serbia), Mr. Milan Pajevic (Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the ISAC Fund), Mrs. Milica Delevic, (Director European Integration Office, Serbian Government), Ms Maja Bobic (Secretary General, European Movement in Serbia), Mrs. Nina Nørgaard (Executive Director, IUC-Europe:Presentation of Waves of Democracy 2010). Cultural performance by local artists. 11.30 - 14.00 Possibility to view the Fortress and walk back to the hotel (30 - 40 min. walk). For those who prefer, bus transport will be provided from the Fortress to the hotel at 12.30. 14.00 Lunch at the hotel 15.00 Introduction to Committee Work/Presentation of Committee Presidents and topics Hotel Conference Hall 15.30 - 19.00 Committee work in 10 workshops - Introduction to issues/guidelines - debate 20.00 - 21.00 Dinner at the hotel. Monday July 5 8.00 - 9.00 Breakfast at the hotel/Votes for 10 delegates for Room of Action 9.30 - 13.30 Excursion to Fruska Gora and visits to Monasteries Return to the hotel 14.00 - 15.00 Lunch at the hotel 15.30 Plenary Session/Results of the election for Room of Action (Hotel Conference Hall) Presentation of draft resolutions hosted by CPs/speeches in favour of the resolutions/factual questions/debate/feed-back/establishing of new groups for the preamble work. 20.00 Dinner at the hotel. Key note speech by Mr. Vlada Petronijevic, Group 484. 21.00 Creativity and Performance in groups

Thursday July 8 6.00 - 10.00 Breakfast at the hotel Departure/End of conference (Programme subject to minor changes) The EXIT Festival takes place in Novi Sad 8 - 11 July 2010. For those who want to participate visit the EXIT home page on http://www.exitfest.org/ EXIT is the biggest music festival in Southeast Europe and has taken place since 2001. Please note that the organisors of Waves of Democracy 2010 are not able to provide tickets and accomodation for the EXIT festival.
