Dear participants, It was a great pleasure to spend time with you in Novi Sad recently - please find links to the Waves of Democracy 2010 video and the Creativity and Perfomance video on the front page. You will be updated about the YoungCitizens network and other developments in the near future. 

 

Last minute information

Busses have been organized from the airport to Novi Sad, and there will be 2 busses during the day of arrival namely at 13.30 and 18.00 from the airport.

The delegate fee of 50 € for EU participants should be paid in Novi Sad. Please make sure you bring 50 €, which you can pay to the IUC representative.

Please bring laptops and USB sticks for the work in the committees if you are able to do so. Alcohol is strictly forbidden during the sessions but of course tolerated in the free time. To a limited extent! A list of useful mobile numbers will be provided. At the end of the conference the delegates who have participated satisfactorily will obtain a Certificate of Participation. At the Opening Ceremony and other occasions (to be confirmed in Novi Sad) adequate clothes are required: no jeans/sneakers/shorts/flip flops etc. are permitted.

The website will be continuously updated. Names of most EU participants as well as West Balkan participants have now been entered. Also the list of committees are updated with new names.

Visa

Programme

The programme is now updated on the programme page.

Transportation

Please book your transportation now and send us your itinerary asap. Bus transportation from Belgrade Airport will be arranged. Pending on arrival time a little waiting can be expected. Participants should plan to arrive before 16.00 to make the evening arrangements. Those coming by car/bus/train should plan to arrive before 18.00 at Hotel Novi Sad. If not possible please contact the IUC office. Public busses from Belgrade to Novi Sad run every half an hour and tickets are approximately 10 €. The bus trip takes 1½ hours, and the Hotel in Novi Sad is within walking distance from the busstation (5 - 10 minutes).

Travel costs for West Balkan participants will be reimbursed during the conference in Novi Sad. Only the cheapest form of transportation will be reimbursed such as trains, busses etc.

Insurance

Participants are kindly requested to take care of their own insurance for the transportation and stay in Novi Sad. Please check your local authority/travel agent in your respective country to find out how to best cover yourself.
